Valentine's Dayyyy

You know when you have so many things to do but you decide to blog instead? Oh just me? I always think destressing time is worth it even when life is at its craziest!
So for the past two months I've been a STUDENT TEACHER. I thought I would never get to this point since degree requirement classes seem to drag on for eternity but here I am. Teaching my heart out. Loving every minute of it.
My class is the best and I honestly think they are too good and perfect for me to practice on! Also, I adore my cooperating teacher to death. We laugh together, complain together and have the deepest educational conversations. She's the best and I think that I'm too lucky.
Teaching can be stressful, frustrating and so so exhausting but at the end of the day I feel like I did something important. I also feel like it's making me a better person. The best part is seeing them so excited to learn. The worst part about it is never having enough time to pee. All in all its a pretty okay job to have even if its unpaid!
January and February have flown by that before I knew it it was Valentines Day! I was named the Valentines day planner since none of the parents could so I inevitably bought a bunch of valentines day stuff and spent way too much time planning games. We played mental math bingo (they kind of hated me for making them think at the party), Disney couple who am I? (5th grades take couple games WAY too seriously and I would not ever play this game again haha), and candy heart minute to win it with prizes. Although it was a blast, at the end of they I was freaking exhausted and understood why teachers kind of dread class parties. KIDS GO CRAZY.
As for my Valentine' Day, it was special and sweet as always! I know people say Valentines Day is stupid and cliche and a big scam but I see nothing wrong with a holiday about love. Tyler and I randomly do acts of love for each other all the time but we both like candy and romantic dates sooooooo we give in to the hype of it all and arent afraid to admit it!
We happened to have a Cheesecake Factory gift card so figured we would go there and order whatever we wanted! We ended the day with New Girl and cuddles. I bought him his favorite See's Chocolate truffles and he got me a cute initial necklace and roses. And of course a couple walks around our favorite flowery place.
It was just a sweet relaxing day that was full of hearts! ❤️❤️❤️
